MONTH OF EVANGELISATION
From the Priest in Charge
There is no time like the present! Invite, welcome and encourage those who pass by. May our hearts and doors open to live with others the way forward for our lovely church. Tell us how we might best help the wider community in addition to worship!
We are experiencing an enormous sense of confusion as a church, namely the good ole C of E, and in our government, local and national and a myriad of the other realities that try to disturb our life style and challenge us daily.
It all seems a bit confounded. Have we based our life and actions in a firm way in an attempt to nurture each other and yes our cry for the environment. Morocco, Greece, Libya, plus fires, floods and all that we find occurring in full view. Or have we let the less than good ground where we find ourselves, expose us if we lack of concern for letting the gospel values ay give some guidance on how we live our lives in spite of the confused and often sad that we may encounter.
As a dual citizen UK USA, I find the way forward is not going as well as might be wanted. What are some of the things gnawing at our daily routine. Are we on track? Does coming to church help church leaders on all levels will need your love and support if indeed what Christ’s call to mission in this parish. Do we help each other? Dear Christian, there is no escape if we truly believe.Remember the Psalmist says good luck in the name of the Lord, may have that luck and a whole lot more.
