A Prayer for Anxiety, Fear, and Nervousness
O gracious God, a mighty Fortress and ever-present Help, who calms the raging storms and brings peace to troubled hearts; grant, I pray, such confidence in your unfailing love and steadfast presence that all my anxiety, fear, and distress may melt away in the warmth of your embrace; so that I may breathe freely in the spacious dwelling of your peace, finding in you my refuge and strength. Through Jesus Christ my Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Prosper, we pray, all those who proclaim the Gospel of your kingdom throughout the world, [and most especially the global Anglican communion of churches] and strengthen us to fulfill your great commission, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey all that you have commanded.
Collect to Pray Every Day
Gracious and loving Father:
I pour out my heartfelt gratitude for the abundant blessings You have lavished upon me. In Your tender mercy, grant me the grace to release all resentments, bitterness, and pain. Empower me to forgive those who have wronged me, just as You have forgiven me.
Remind me that my worth and identity flow solely from You, and that You have placed me where I can thrive and make the greatest impact for Your Kingdom. Help me to walk confidently in Your calling and purpose, keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus. May I run with endurance the race You have set before me, knowing that You are my strength, my shield, and my exceedingly great reward.
I offer this prayer in the precious name of Your Son, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Today:

I forgive those who have wronged you
I remember my worth and identity come from God
I walk confidently in God's calling and purpose
I keep my eyes fixed on Jesus
I run with endurance the race set before you
I rely on God as my strength, shield, and reward
